The challenge:

Flare is a natural zinc-based sunscreen alternative. they're target audience are surfers due to the long-lasting protect and water-resistance of zinc, making it perfect for long hours in the water.

We focussed on the core of what Flare is about in the strategy phase, helping gain complete clarity on the conceptual direction on the brand.

In the ideation process we came up with the tagline - Sun, Sea, Unity. This speaks to what Flare is all about, the elements of Sun and sea working together in balance. No chemicals, no harm to the ocean or your skin.

We brought together these 3 elements in the logo mark to reaffirm this core brand message.
